Round 2: Episode 6: Catching Up With the Pleasants

Daniel Pleasant was still living unaware that he had fathered a child through Kaylynn Langerak. Mary-Sue came up with that diabolical plan in order to hopefully improve their relationship. When Kaylynn came knocking on the door that afternoon, Mary-Sue was certain that their marriage was over. Luckily, Kaylynn kept to her side of the bargain, and Mary-Sue had little to worry about.

With the absence of Angela and Lilith, the large house became a little too large for the shrinking family. Soon after Marie transitioned into childhood, the Pleasants moved into a small little 2 bedroom home that they had built just across the street from Dirk, Lilith, and their impending grandchildren.

Mary-Sue had retired already but Daniel was not ready to let his youth and career go. He still strived to reach the top of the Athletic career. When Marie was at school and Daniel was at work, Mary-Sue focused on her painting, a lost love.
She was there to greet Marie after school and help her with homework. Mary-Sue was definitely more attentive to this unplanned blessing than she had been with her twins.

She was also more attentive with her husband. Now that they were (hopefully) out of the woods and experiencing their later-in-life wedded bliss, they spent a lot of the time canoodling on the couch and hoping that Marie is an easier teenager to deal with than Lilith.

Round 2: Episode 5: Goodbye Mortimer

This update is marked with sadness. Mortimer passed away very peacefully. Unfortunately, it was not peaceful for those who survive him.
Alexander was very upset. You see, Mortimer left behind Cassandra, Alexander, Trina, and Dina. Cassandra was not a burden because she had grown up and left the nest (not to say she wasn't effected by Mortimer's death). Alexander had big dreams. He wanted to attend college and spend his life inventing like his father. However, because Dina was barely employed (and had almost no marketable skills) and Trina was a baby, Alexander had to get an after school job, and put his college dreams in the back of his mind.

Mortimer left them with quite a bit of money, but Alexander was not one to ride on the coattails of his father. He didn't want to support the rest of his family with Mortimer's money. Not soon after Mortimer passed, Dina discovered that she was pregnant again, and Trina grew into a toddler.

Dina gave birth to a baby girl whom she named Michelle (after her first husband Michael Bachelor... but no one in the family was aware of that). Michelle grew into a toddler around the same time that Trina became a child.
Shortly after Dina gave birth to Michelle, she remodeled the attic into a small studio apartment for herself. She felt that the master bedroom belonged to Alex, especially because by the time the apartment was finished, Alexander had transitioned into adulthood and started work as a Test Subject.

Michelle grew into a child, and she and Trina became fast friends.

Unfortunately it didn't last, because Trina grew into a teen and got too cool to hang out with her little 'baby' sister.

Round 2: Episode 4: Dirk Strikes Out

Dirk Dreamer was fresh out of Sim State University after studying Business. He purchased a starter home and adopted a dog, Grimalkin, but they didn't get along so he quickly gave him up for adoption again. Lilith Pleasant had recently became an adult and Dirk renewed his friendship with her. She wasn't seeing anyone, so they began to date again. Soon after that they got engaged.
They had a quiet at home ceremony followed by lots of pillow fighting:

Dirk was promoted to CEO of his company and Lilith was promoted to a Law Firm Receptionist. Their celebrating resulted in:

Round 2: Episode 4: Older Dream(er)s

When we last left the Dreamers, Cassandra and Darren recently welcomed their daughter Belle into the family. They also moved to a larger house next door to Mortimer and Dina.
Darren brought Darleen's tombstone with him to the new house and had her body transferred as well. This didn't sit well with Darleen's ghost. She frequently stomped around the house yelling and waving her arms. She often thought of Cassandra and made threatening gestures. One day it caught up with Darren.
Living in continuous fright like this really took a toll on Darren and he quickly transitioned into an Elder.
Darleen's attacks slowed after this and Darren and Cassandra felt that it was safe to continue building their family.
It was a boy this time, and in continuing with the D tradition, they named him Derek.Little Belle had her first transitioning birthday and grew into an adorable toddler, and then a child.
Derek quickly grew into a toddler as well. Cassandra couldn't help but have the urge for another one, as they grow up so fast!
Both Cassandra and Darren didn't let their family life distract them from their work goals. Darren was gaining promotions quickly and is now a Specialist. Cassandra works as an Inventor on the days that she isn't home with Belle and Derek.

Round 2: Episode 1: The Broke Life

Life with Dustin and Angela Broke was progressing quite nicely. Angela was doing well with her home floral shop, and Dustin was quickly working his way up the Natural Science career ladder. He was now experimenting with breeding strange animals together as an Unnatural Crossbreeder. Mandy was also doing well as she quickly grew into a child before anyone knew what was happening:Not soon after Mandy's birthday, Dustin and Angela decided to try for their second, and most likely final child. It worked!
They decided that their small starter home was no longer big enough for their growing family and Angela's business. Dustin and Angela started home-shopping and settled on this cute little house just down the block from Angela's parents, but still near Grandma Brandy.
Mandy didn't want to move, but when she realized that she wouldn't have to change schools and her friends and cousins were only a walk away, she was okay with it. Plus, in this house, she got her own bedroom and bathroom! For awhile atleast, until the new baby comes.
