Round Four: Changes

Hey guys welcome back to the slightly empty nest! This is Cassandra. I know, Darren was supposed to do this update, but he's been really busy since he got promoted at the hospital. Yep, that's right! Darren's the Chief of Staff now! (**This fulfulled his LTW. First in the neighborhood!) I'm so proud of him. He's been working so hard for the promotion. Well... I'm getting ahead of myself. First thing's first:I was outside making some medicine up since I had been sick along with Belle. At least... I thought I had been (That was a bad batch). When I finally got a good batch done, Belle and I both had it. She felt better almost immediately... but I just kept throwing up. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, until it hit me one day:
Yep! That's right, I'm pregnant with my third (Darren's fourth). It's a little late in the game for this baby... But I really wanted to have three kids all graduate from college, since I never did.

Speaking of college, my baby Derek grew up. This is him on his birthday with big sis Belle. I had them stand next to each other so I could see how similar they look! Of course Belle is in her rebellious stage, and had to turn a different way.
Well... they didn't wait too long to leave the nest. *wipes tears* They went off to Academie LeTour and hopefully aren't getting too crazy...
Well, since we were a smaller family, and this house has been driving me crazy... we decided to move again. I felt like Alex didn't need my help next door anymore now that he's an adult.
Plus, since *spoiler alert* Darren's son, Dirk had just had a new baby, we felt like he might need us a little bit more. So we moved into a smaller two bedroom home across the street from him.
This way Dirk's baby, and his half-brother can grow up together. Yep, it was a boy! We call him Dusty.


Not long after we moved Darren was finally promoted! And it seemed like Dusty wasn't a baby for too long, because the next thing that I remember is having a little birthday party for him:

Of course, I'm getting older too, so my memory could be fading. That's right... I made the big life-transition into white haired age with Darren.
That's pretty much all we've been up to. Oh! Well, Darren wanted me to tell you about Darleen. Since we were moving, we decided to move her grave to the Pleasantview Cemetery. It was hard for Darren, but he felt good about it. Darleen even came out to wave goodbye.
But she's in a nicer place now. We bought a small plot on the back corner of the cemetery.
It's really quite nice. Alright, well I've got to run... Dusty's trying to sneak out the door! See you next time!
